To “fear” God means that I have reverence for Him and am in complete awe of who He is and what He has done. If I want to gain true knowledge and apply it to my life then I will have a proper understanding of God and my position before Him. I also have the benefit of having God’s Holy Spirit dwell within me so that I can learn from Him and grow more like Christ.
Lord, help me to recognize You as the ultimate source of wisdom. Help me be obedient as Your Spirit leads me and guides me into Your truth.
