What I’m Listening to – 5/13

Sometimes I get hyper focused on one particular band or artist. That happened Saturday and continued yesterday. I’m not sure what prompted it but I think it may have been a conversation on TwiXter.

On Saturday I listened to : Boy, October, War, The Unforgettable Fire, Under A Blood Red Sky, and Wide Awake In America.

I had church on Sunday and then I went to see my Mom (318 miles roundtrip). I listened to Stryper (The Yellow And Black Attack, Soldiers Under Command), Flood (Ripped Into Exile), Tourniquet (PsychoSurgery), and P.O.D. (The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown) in the car.

I got up Monday morning and decided to go back to U2. I began with The Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Edition. I followed that up with How To Build An Atomic Bomb (Re-Assemble Edition), which is the 20th anniversary, Songs Of Surrender, and Achtung Baby 30th Anniversary Edition. With the exception of How To Build An Atomic Bomb, they are all four discs so that took pretty much all day.

I’ve already gone down the rabbit hole so I guess I’ll spend the rest of this week listening to everything I have by U2 and the stuff streaming on Spotify.

Grace and peace.
