I was born sometime between 7:30 and 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 1970. If I had waited about four hours I would have been born on my mother’s birthday.
The #1 album the day I was born was Paul McCartney’s McCartney. The #1 song was Everything Is Beautiful by Ray Stevens. The #1 movie was Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. The #1 television show was Marcus Welby, MD. Some of the folks I share a birthday with include: Stacey Keach, Charlie Watts, Wayne Brady, and Justin Long. B-Real from Cypress Hill was born on the same day I was.
Since I turn fifty-five today, I thought I would look at some of my favorite albums from years that end in 5. In keeping with the theme, I’ll pick five from each year. I wasn’t necessarily listening to all these albums when they were released (especially those in 1975) but they are all albums I listened to consistently once I discovered them. Some of them still get regularly airplay with me.

As I sit here and look at this list of thirty albums, I’m trying to determine what my favorite one is. I don’t know that I can narrow it down to just one so I’ll pick my favorite Christian album and my favorite secular album from the list.
